Job Overview

The selected candidate will assist with moving, racking, cabling, labelling, and organizing IT equipment within customer data centre facilities while following site safety procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Unpack and move equipment from the delivery area to the data centre floor.
  • Assist with mounting rails and installing servers, switches, and storage equipment in racks.
  • Assist with running, routing, and dressing cables inside racks.
  • Apply equipment and cable labels as instructed by the Tech Lead.
  • Remove packaging materials and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Dispose of packaging materials appropriately.
  • Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and customer instructions.
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Tech Lead.
